EXPOLINGUA Berlin: More international than ever before – and a special platform for a special kind of tourism

EXPOLINGUA Berlin’s international diversity is one of the main reasons exhibitors and visitors attend the event and return year after year. This year’s edition will be held 18 – 19 November, and again more than 25 countries from around the globe will be represented. Besides many European countries, the list includes Argentina, Costa Rica, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Martinique and Oman.

Guatemala will have a big stand at this year’s international language fair. The Central American country, which is known to many as coffee exporter, is becoming an attractive travel destination for international tourism and language trips due to its multifaceted landscape and Mayan history.

Many language-learning trips and courses are booked for business purposes. The participants’ motivation is not only to communicate with potential business partners – some want to prepare themselves for a university or professional interview abroad.

As Germany’s leading fair for languages and cultures, EXPOLINGUA Berlin offers an important platform for language travel and course providers. Amongst the exhibitors are language schools, language-study tour and exchange organisations, publishers and providers of online courses, language tests, and language-study software suppliers.

The exhibition program is topped off by numerous presentations and a fascinating cultural programme.
