eLearning Africa launches the annual Through your Lens Photo Competition

The eLearning Africa Through your Lens Photo Competition is back this year for its seventh edition, promoted by the eLearning Africa 2016 conference. Under the theme of ‘ICT Vision for Africa’, budding photographers are invited to submit pictures depicting how ICTs are improving relationships between family, group or country members in Africa. Photography and eLearning enthusiasts from across Africa and the rest of the world have the chance to share their view of ICT in Africa.

Contributions from all sectors and walks of life are welcome. Photos can be submitted via the eLearning Africa “Through your Lens” Facebook application from now until May 1st 2016. They should be accompanied by a brief description outlining the inspiration behind their idea.

The three winners will be decided with a public vote and an expert panel of judges. Prizes include a tablet, a smartphone and a digital camera. Participation is free and a selection of the submitted photos, including the winners, will feature in the exhibition at this year’s eLearning Africa conference.

The photo competition is organised by eLearning Africa, the largest and most comprehensive event for ICT-enhanced education and training in Africa, enabling participants to develop multinational and cross-industry contacts and partnerships. It is also a way for them to enhance their knowledge, expertise and abilities. Now in its 11th year, eLearning Africa will be taking place from May 24th – 26th 2016, Cairo, Egypt.

All eligible photos submitted to the competition can be viewed and you can vote for them via the Facebook application.
