Communication campaigns for EUIPO completed
Throughout 2016, ICWE designed and implemented the PR for several campaigns by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). The campaigns have now been successfully completed.
EUIPO’s campaigns included a study on counterfeit medicines and their economic consequences, as well as a study on the impact of intellectual property rights on the EU economy, conducted in cooperation with the European Patent Office (EPO). A special highlight was the December Christmas campaign that summarised the results of nine studies on the economic impact of trademark counterfeiting in a range of sectors.
ICWE supported the launch of the two studies with national presswork in several European countries; for the Christmas campaign, 27 EU member states were targeted.
