CloserStill Media acquires Online Educa Berlin (OEB)

Learning Technologies Germany to be launched alongside OEB in 2018

(Berlin, December 5th, 2017) CLOSERSTILL MEDIA, the London-based exhibition and conference organiser, has announced the acquisition of one of Europe’s leading education and learning conference and exhibitions – Online Educa Berlin (OEB) – from ICWE GMbH for an undisclosed sum.

OEB, is one of Europe’s most respected conferences for technology assisted learning drawing on more than 2,000 participants from across the education and corporate learning sectors.

CloserStill runs the world’s leading workplace learning event brand, Learning Technologies, with two market leading events in Paris and London, a global digital community and the industry’s leading awards programme for corporate learning and development professionals,. The London event is Europe’s largest annual exhibition and conference for the workplace learning sector attracting more than 8,000 visitors and over 200 exhibitors.

CloserStill, recently ranked in the top 100 in the Sunday Times International FastTrack 200 of the UK’s fastest growing exporters and as the fastest growing events business in Europe according to the 2017 Financial Times’ FT1000 Index, will incorporate Learning Technologies into OEB 2018, which returns to the German capital in December 2018.
